The process to update existing Ledger details is as follows:
Navigation: Menu > Ledger Groups App > Listview > Select the Ledger Group > Edit (Pencil Icon)
If user wants to update the already existing Ledger group details, user needs to click on ‘Edit’ option at the top right corner and fill in the required details.
Edit Ledger Groups
Field Name | Description |
Ledger Group Name | By default the system shows the name of the Ledger Group; if the user wants to change it, enter the name for the ledger group |
Parent Groups | By default the system shows the name of the Parent Group; if the user wants to change it, select Parent group name from the drop-down list |

Company Name | By default the system shows the name(s) of the companies; if the user wants to change it, select the company name from the drop-down list. (User can add multiple companies in the field) |
Series | By default the system takes series as Ledger Groups |
Description | Comment or enter short note about the ledger group |
Apply the required changes and click on Save.
