A Fiscal Year (FY), also known as a budget year, is a period of time used by the government and businesses for accounting purposes to formulate annual financial statements.
Stage Workflow
The default stages workflow of the Fiscal Year
| Stage Name | Description |
| Active | The Fiscal year created is currently in progress and being used for financial reporting and accounting purposes. |
| Inactive | It refers to a past fiscal year that has been completed and closed for financial activities |
| Deleted | The fiscal year has been permanently removed or deleted from the financial system |

In the layout view, a Portlet accurately represents each functionality, and its corresponding data is precisely viewed as a Widget. The following section includes the default portlets and widgets of the Fiscal Years App.
+ Refresh Fiscal Year: By clicking on this option, user can create Partition Tables Successfully and a pop-up notification as “Success” will be displayed on the screen.

This section contains Fiscal year basic details, year wise closing balance, from date and to date of the Fiscal year period

| To Date | Displays End date of the fiscal year. It represents the date until which the financial activities and transactions are recorded within the specific fiscal year period. |
