Introduction
A Piece of work assigned to one or a specific group of people to be accomplished in a given time. The assigning and tracking of tasks to an employee. In BizGaze, users can manage tasks between one and one to many using the “Tasks app.” The multi-level approval actions of functions can be achieved using the tasks app.
Stage Workflow
Stage Name | Stage Description |
Draft | The task created and not assigned to an employee |
Active | The task assigned to an employee |
In Progress | The employee act upon the assigned task |
Completed | The employee completed tasks |
On hold | The task needed managers conformation |
Aborted | The cancelled or invalid tasks |

Details
This section contains basic details of the Task like Task name, Task Group name, Task Id and to whom the task is assigned
Field name | Description |
Assigned To | Displays to whom the task is assigned to (user name of the employee / customer) is displayed |
Points | Achievement points allotted for the task |
Task Group | Task group name in which the task is included is displayed |
Task Id | The system generated unique code or short name code of the task is displayed |
Milestone Details
This widget contains Milestone details of the Task
Field name | Description |
Milestone | Displays milestone name. A milestone is an important event or action in a project or a business journey that marks a crucial stage of progress. |
Project Name | Displays project name of the task. The unique name or title assigned to a specific project. It serves as an identifier for the project and helps distinguish it from other projects within an organization. |
Task Duration
This section contains Start Date, End Date, Points Allotted, and Duration of the Task
Field name | Description |
Start Date | The date on which a task is scheduled or planned to begin. It indicates the starting point or commencement date of the task’s execution |
Duration | the length of time required to complete a task. It is the time interval between the Start Date and the task’s completion or end date. The Duration is typically measured in days, hours, or other relevant units |
Due Date | Due Date is the deadline or target date by which a task is expected to be completed. It represents the scheduled or desired completion date of the task. |
Points | Achievement points allotted for the task |

This section consists of the Dependents Details of the Task
Field name | Description |
Dependent Name | The name or title of a task that is dependent on another task within a project. In project management, certain tasks may have dependencies, meaning they cannot be started or completed until certain preceding tasks are finished. |
Dependent Type | Dependent Type categorizes the relationship or type of dependency between tasks. It describes how one task is dependent on another. There are different types of task dependencies like Finish-to-Start (FS), Start-to-Start (SS), Finish-to-Finish (FF), and Start-to-Finish (SF). |

This section contains files/documents related to the task.
Task Audit
This widget contains Due date and Reopened status of the Task
Field name | Description |
Reopened | Displays whether the task is reopened or not. The system displays ‘True’ if the task is reopened and ‘False’ when not |
Due Date | Date on which the task needs to be completed. It is the last date by which the task allotted needs to be completed |
Task Followers
Followers assigned to the task are displayed.
Sub Task
This section contains details about sub tasks of the primary task. Sub Tasks are the categories of the Primary task which helps in quick identification
Support Ticket
This widget contains all the basic details about the tickets raised against issues
Activity Log provide users with essential information, notifications, and real-time updates to keep them engaged and informed about key activities in apps related to updates, notifications, and stage changes.
