    Ledger Posting Rules define the process for how financial transactions are recorded in the general ledger. These rules specify the accounts that should be debited and credited when certain types of transactions occur, ensuring that financial data is accurate and consistent across the organization. This Includes Chart of accounts, Account determination, Posting keys & Validation and substitution rules.

    Stage Workflow

    Active The Ledger Posting Rule created is in active stage
    Inactive The Ledger Posting Rule is created but not yet approved
    Deleted The Ledger Posting Rule is either deleted or no longer available

    This widget provides the details of Ledger Posting Rules that are configured

    Field name Description
    Rule Name The rule’s name is displayed. These names would be used to define the unique rules and criteria that must be met in order for transaction details to be recorded in a given account, tax group, etc.
    LoB Displays the Line of Business segment for which the rule is applied. A business segment can be identified by the product(s) sold or services provided or by geographical locations that the company operates in.
    Applied For The module name to which the Posting rule is applied is displayed.
    Companies Displays the company name for which the Posting rule is applied for all the transactions.
    Ledger A/C Ledger account name for which the Posting rule is applied. It refers to a specific account that records financial transactions in the general ledger.
    Branches Displays the branch name for which the Posting rule is applied for all the transactions created in that branch.

    Tax Group

    It refers to a collection of tax codes or tax rates that are assigned to a particular group of items, services, or customers.
