Introduction
Projects refer to distinct initiatives or endeavors that consist of multiple tasks and activities aimed at achieving specific goals or objectives. Each project typically has a defined scope, timeline, and desired outcome. Projects are often used to organize and manage complex tasks or workflows that require a series of coordinated actions to be completed successfully. They provide a structured framework for planning, executing, and monitoring tasks in a systematic manner.
Stage Workflow

Draft | The Project is created but not yet assigned to an employee |
Approval | The project is sent for approval for further process |
Active | The Project is assigned to an employee |
Inactive | The Project is awaiting manager’s approval |
In-progress | The Project is currently ongoing and actively being worked on |
Completed | The completed Projects of an employee |
Hold | The Project needed managers conformation |
Canceled | The canceled or invalid tasks |
Portlets & Widgets
In the layout view, a Portlet accurately represents each functionality, and its corresponding data is precisely viewed as a Widget. The following section includes the default portlets and widgets of the Projects App.
Open Tasks | Open Tasks refer to tasks that have been created or assigned but are yet to be started or worked on. These tasks are in an initial state where no progress has been made, and they require action to be taken to move them forward. |
In-Progress Tasks | In-Progress Tasks are tasks that are currently being actively worked on or have work in progress. User can click on the hyperlink for detailed data of the In-progress Tasks |
Closed Tasks | Closed Tasks are tasks that have been completed or resolved. These tasks have been finished, and the necessary actions or deliverable associated with them have been accomplished |
Re-Open Tasks | Re-Open Tasks refer to tasks that were previously closed but have been reopened due to certain circumstances. |
Total Tasks | It refers to the cumulative number of tasks, including open, in-progress, closed, and any other task statuses. The total tasks metric provides an overview of the entire task inventory or workload. |
Open Issue | It signifies an ongoing issue that has not been fully resolved or addressed. Open issues may require further investigation, discussion, or action to find a resolution and close them. |
Project Details
This widget contains the summarized information about the Project
Field Name | Field Description |
Project Group | Displays the name of the Project group to which the project belongs. Project Groups are collections or categories that are used to group related projects together based on shared characteristics, such as department, team, client, or theme. |
Project Name | Displays the name of the project. The unique name or title assigned to a specific project. It serves as an identifier for the project and helps distinguish it from other projects within an organization. |
Project Manager | The Project Manager name assigned is displayed. A Project Manager is an individual responsible for overseeing and leading a project from initiation to completion |
Start Date | Displays the Start Date of the Project. It refers to the specific date on which a project is scheduled to begin or is initiated |
End Date | The End Date of the Project is displayed. It is the anticipated or targeted date for project completion. It indicates the expected time frame within which all project tasks, deliverables, and objectives are expected to be achieved. |
Task Details
This section contains basic details of the Task like Task name, Task Group name, Task Id and to whom the task is assigned

Points | Achievement points allotted for the task |
Task Group | Task group name in which the task is included is displayed |

Field name | Description |
Team Name | Displays the name or title of the Project team. A Project Team is a group of individuals assembled to work together on a specific project. |
Team Lead | Displays the name of the team lead. The Team Lead, also known as the Team Leader, is a member of the project team who is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the team |
Team Members | Displays the names of the project Team members. Team Members are the individuals who are part of the project team and contribute their skills and expertise towards achieving project objectives |
Task Group | A Task Group refers to a collection or category of related tasks within a project. It is a way of organizing and grouping similar or interdependent tasks together |

This widget contains Milestone details of the Project
Field name | Description |
Milestone | Displays milestone name. A milestone is an important event or action in a project or a business journey that marks a crucial stage of progress. |
Manager | A milestone manager refers to a person or role responsible for overseeing and tracking the milestones within a project. Milestone manager plays a critical role in project management by ensuring that the project progresses according to the established timeline and that important milestones are achieved on schedule. |
Start-End Date | Displays the start date and end date of the Milestone |
Task Group
