Account types refer to the different categories or classifications of accounts used in accounting and financial systems to organize and track financial transactions. These categories typically represent the nature or purpose of the account and determine how the account is treated and reported in financial statements. Common account types include assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses.

In the layout view, a Portlet accurately represents each functionality, and its corresponding data is precisely viewed as a Widget. The following section includes the default portlets and widgets of the Account Types App.

Field name | Description |
Account Type Value | Numeric value of the account type is displayed. It serves as a unique identifier for the specific account type within the accounting system. |
Account Type Name | The descriptive name or label given to each account type. It provides a clear and meaningful designation for the account type, making it easier for users to understand and navigate the financial system. Ex: Cash, Bank and etc. |
Reports
A report is a document that presents information in an organized format for a specific audience and purpose. Although summaries of reports may be delivered orally, complete reports are almost always in the form of written documents.
