Introduction
A designation is a title, name, position, or title given to someone, the act of choosing someone or something for a remarkable job, or stating that something has a particular character or purpose: This is a Specialized functional area within an organization or a division, such as accounting, marketing, and planning. Generally, every department has its manager and chain of command.
Stage Workflow
The default workflow stages in Designation app are as follows:
Field name | Description |
Active | A designation that is currently in use and actively filled by an employee within the organization |
Inactive | The designation positions that are still part of the organizational structure but are currently unoccupied |
Deleted | Represents a designation that has been permanently removed or deleted from the organizational structure |

Field name | Description |
Designation | Designation assigned to the employee. A designation refers to a specific job title or position held by an individual within the hierarchy or structure of the organization |
Department | Department name in which the employee is assigned a designation is displayed. The specific functional area or division within an organization that is responsible for carrying out specific tasks or activities. |
Code | The system generated unique identifying code or short name of the designation is displayed |
Connected Roles
Connected roles refer to the interrelationships or dependencies between different designations or job positions within an organization.
This widget contains the roles connected to the designation department.

Role Name | A role represents the set of responsibilities, tasks, and expectations assigned to an individual within an organization. Roles define the functions and contributions expected from an employee based on their designation |

Activity Log provide users with essential information, notifications, and real-time updates to keep them engaged and informed about key activities in apps related to updates, notifications, and stage changes.
