Introduction
Events refer to organized gatherings, occasions, or activities with specific purposes, such as conferences, seminars, parties, exhibitions, and meetings, designed to bring people together for various social, educational, or promotional purposes.
The BizGaze’s ‘Events app’ is designed to assist organizations in planning, managing, and executing events efficiently. It offers features like event registration, attendee management, ticketing, scheduling, promotion, communication, and analytic.
Stage Workflow
Field name | Description |
All | This stage encompasses all states of an event, including drafts, active events, completed events, events on hold, and canceled events |
Draft | In this stage, an event is being prepared, with details and plans being finalized before it becomes active |
Active | An event is currently taking place or ongoing, with attendees participating and planned activities being executed. |
Completed | This stage signifies that the event has concluded successfully, all planned activities are finished, and attendees have left |
Hold | Events in this stage are temporarily paused or delayed, often due to unforeseen circumstances, and will resume at a later time |
Canceled | An event in this stage has been officially called off and will not take place as originally planned |

In the layout view, a Portlet accurately represents each functionality, and its corresponding data is precisely viewed as a Widget. The following section includes the default portlets and widgets of the Events App.

Total Invited | The system displays overall count of individuals who have been invited to the event, including attendees, participants, and guests |
Invitation Accepted | The system displays total number of invitations that have been acknowledged and accepted by recipients, indicating their intention to attend the event |
Male | The system displays total number of male individuals who are expected to attend the event |
Female | The system displays total number of female individuals who are expected to attend the event |
Children | The system displays total number of children who are anticipated to be present at the event |
Local Transport | Displays the arrangements or plans made for transportation within the event’s local area, often for moving attendees between venues |
Travel Requests | Displays the number of requests made by attendees for travel assistance, such as flights or transportation, to reach the event location |
Hotel Requests | Displays the count of requests made by attendees for accommodation arrangements, typically involving hotel reservations |
Predicted Images | Displays the estimated number of images that are expected to be captured during the event |
Total Images | Displays the actual count of images captured throughout the event’s duration |
Unrecognized Images | Displays the number of images that couldn’t be identified or associated with known individuals or subjects |
Event People
This widget contains comprehensive information about individuals associated with the event, including attendees, participants, organizers, and staff

Unregistered Users
Information pertaining to individuals who have not formally signed up or registered for the event, but may have attended or participated without providing official registration information

Comprehensive information about the physical location of an event, including the venue’s name, street address, city, state or province, postal code, and any additional location-specific details

Event Location | Displays the name of an Event location. It is the specific place where an event is scheduled to take place, encompassing its geographical coordinates and surroundings |
Address Name | A distinct identifier or label for the event venue, aiding in its recognition and differentiation |
Address Line1 | The primary street or location information of the event venue, providing the core address details |
City | The name of the city in which the event venue is situated |
Pin Code | Pin code of the address is displayed. Pin code, also known as Postal Index Number (PIN), is a unique code consisting of six digits that is used in India to identify specific geographic regions |
Land Mark | Notable nearby reference points or features that help attendees easily locate the event venue |
Address Line2 | An additional line of address information that may be necessary to provide more specific location details |
Description | User can view comments or supplementary notes related to the event helping attendees understand its context |
Meeting Address
This Widget contains Event address details where the meeting takes place and with GPS coordinates user can view the Meeting location on the maps
Guest Details
This widget contains specific information about individuals who are attending an event
Field name | Description |
Name | Name of the guest attending the event is displayed. It helps identify the guest uniquely and facilitates personalized communication and interactions. |
The email address of the guest is displayed. It is a crucial contact point for communication between the event organizers and the guest, used for sending invitations, updates, and other event-related information. | |

Event Preference
This widget encompasses event preferences such as travel, food, accommodation, or transportation, along with the respective dates when these preferences are established

Event Settings
This widget contains and displays the event configurations, indicating whether specific options are active or inactive. The configurable options include Download Availability, Donation Capability, Upload Functionality, and Preferences Access.
The system indicates ‘True’ for enabled settings and ‘False’ for disabled settings
Photos
This widget contains and displays the Event Photos uploaded

The system displays photos and media of an Event. The system displays only five photos on the screen, user can click on ‘View All’ to view all the Media content. User can click on the Photo and select ‘Play’ option for a slide show. |

The system displays Meeting link and user can join the Meeting by clicking on ‘Join Meeting’ option.
