The creation process of Expense Category
Navigation: Menu > Masters > Search the Expense Categories App > Listview > Select the Expense Category > Create (+)
Note : The fields which are in star mark (*) are mandatory
Create Expense Category
Field Name | Description | Mandatory |
Category Name | Enter the Expense Category name in the field | Yes |
HSN Code | Select the HSN code to be assigned for the category | Yes |
Series | By default the system loads the series as Categories | Yes |
Is Child Property | User can click on the checkbox to enable whether the category is child category or not. | – |
If user enables the checkbox: Category name: Select the Parent Category name from the list |

Tax Eligible | User can click on the check box to enable whether Tax is eligible or not, if the tax should be calculated by default & tax group can be assigned by default. | – |
If user enables the checkbox: Tax Group: Select the Tax Group name from the list |

Apply the details and click on Save.
