    Creation process of the Ledger Posting Rule

    The creation of Ledger Posting Rule is as follows:

    Navigation: Menu > Ledger Posting Rules App > Listview > Create (+)  

    The fields which are in red star mark are mandatory

    Create Ledger Posting Rule  

    Field name Description Mandatory
    Rule Name Enter the name of the Posting rule Yes
    Series The system by default takes series as Ledger Posting Rules Yes
    Applied For User can select the Module name for which the Posting rule is to be applied from the list Yes
    Tax Groups Select tax codes or tax rates from the drop-down list to assign the posting rule. User can add multiple tax rates or tax codes Yes
    Ledger A/C Select the Ledger account name from the list used to record financial transactions to apply the posting rule Yes
    LoB Select the line of business for which the Posting rule is to be applied for all the transactions concerning the tag assigned. User can add multiple LoB tags from the list Yes
    Companies Select the company name for which the Posting rule to be applied for all the transactions. User can add multiple companies from the list to apply the posting rule No
    Branches Select the branch name for which the Posting rule to be applied for all the transactions created in that branch. User can add multiple branches from the list to apply the posting rule No
    Description User can comment or enter short notes about the Posting Rule No

    Apply all the details and click on Save.
