Ledger Type Overview

Article sections

    Introduction

Ledger Types refer to the different classifications or categories of ledgers used in accounting systems to record and organize financial transactions. Each ledger type serves a specific purpose and represents a distinct aspect of an organization’s financial activities. Ledger Types ensure proper categorization, classification, and organization of financial transactions within an accounting system, enabling accurate reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

In BizGaze, the entire organization’s official transactions can be built as a ledger report. Branch-wise transactions can view ledger reports along with the “Opening and Closing of the ledger” for a financial year.
