    Introduction

    “Routes” typically refer to predefined paths or sequences of locations that need to be visited, usually by field personnel. These could be salespeople visiting clients, delivery drivers delivering packages, technicians servicing equipment at various locations, and so on.

    BizGaze’s “Routes” App can streamline the management of field operations, improve efficiency, and provide valuable insights to further enhance productivity and customer service.

    Stage Workflow

    Default stages of Routes App:

    Stage name Description
    Active Routes that are currently in use and actively being scheduled and executed.
    Inactive The Inactive stage represents routes that are temporarily suspended or not currently in use.
    Deleted Routes that have been permanently removed or deleted from the Routes Schedule.

    Portlets & Widgets

    In the layout view, a Portlet accurately represents each functionality, and its corresponding data is precisely viewed as a Widget. The following section includes the default portlets and widgets of the Routes App.

    Scheduler

    The screen presents the days scheduled for an employee’s route, denoted in vibrant green color, displayed on a basis of Week wise, Day wise or Date wise

    Description

    Short notes or comments regarding the scheduled route are displayed.

    Routes Customer

    This section displays the Organization/Customer name and Address of the customer

    Field name Description
    Address Displays the name of the Organization or Customer, making it easy to identify and navigate relevant data pertaining to the specific entity
    Customer The customer’s address is prominently displayed, providing easy location reference for seamless navigation and correspondence

    Activity Log provide users with essential information, notifications, and real-time updates to keep them engaged and informed about key activities in apps related to updates, notifications, and stage changes.

    Comments Users can comment or enter short notes about the Route
    Audit 
    Created date Displays creation date of the Route
    Created by Name of the person who created Route
    Last updated date Last stage changed of the Route
    Last updated by Name of the person who updated the stage
    Status Current status of the Route
    Time-Line This widget tracks all the activities within the app

    Reports

    A report is a document that presents information in an organized format for a specific audience and purpose. Although summaries of reports may be delivered orally, complete reports are almost always in the form of written documents.
