The update process of the State is as follows:
Navigation: Menu > Settings > Masters > Address > States App > Listview > Select the State > Edit (Pencil Icon)
If user wants to update the existing State details, user needs to click on ‘Edit’ option at the top right corner and fill in the required details.
Edit State
| Field name | Description |
| State Name | The system automatically shows the name of the State provided while creation of the city; if user wants to change it, enter a new name of the State |
| Code | The system automatically shows the short name of the State; if user wants to change it, enter a new short name for the State |
| Country Name | The system automatically shows the name of the Country to which the State belongs; if user wants to change it, select a new Country name from the drop-down list |
| Zone Name | The system automatically shows the name of the Zone to which the State belongs; if user wants to change it, select a new Zone name from the list |
| Description | User can comment or enter short notes about the State |
Apply the required changes and click on Save.
