Introduction
Task groups refer to a collection of related tasks or activities grouped together based on a common objective or project.
The BizGaze’s “Task Groups” app is designed to help organizations streamline and manage their tasks more efficiently. It allows users to create, organize, and assign tasks within designated groups, facilitating collaboration and clear project tracking.
Portlets & Widgets
In the layout view, a Portlet accurately represents each functionality, and its corresponding data is precisely viewed as a Widget. The following section includes the default portlets and widgets of the Task groups App.
Task Group Details
This widget contains basic information about the Task group
| Field name | Description |
| Task Group Name | Displays the name of the Task group. A ticket group name refers to a label or identifier assigned to a collection of related tasks or activities grouped together based on a common objective or project |
| Assign Contact | Displays to whom the task group is assigned to (user name of the employee / customer) |
| Code | The system generated unique code assigned for the Task group is displayed |
| Description | Comments or short notes about the Task group are displayed |
Tasks
This section contains basic details of the Task like Task name, Task Group name, Task Id and to whom the task is assigned

| Task Id | The system generated unique code or short name code of the task is displayed |
| Subject | Subject or title of Task is displayed |
| Assigned To | Displays to whom the task is assigned to (user name of the employee / customer) is displayed |
| Start-End Date |
Start date and End date of the Task are displayed. Start date is the date on which a task is scheduled or planned to begin. End Date is the deadline or target date by which a task is expected to be completed |
| Stage name | Users can view the current stage of the Task |
Activity Log provide users with essential information, notifications, and real-time updates to keep them engaged and informed about key activities in apps related to updates, notifications, and stage changes.
