Introduction
Tax classes, in a tax system, refer to predefined categories or classifications assigned to different types of products, services, or transactions for tax purposes. These classes are designed to determine the appropriate tax rates, exemptions, or other tax-related rules applicable to specific goods or services.
With BizGaze’s “Tax Classes” app, customers and organizations can effectively manage tax-related processes, ensure accurate tax calculations, maintain compliance with tax regulations, and streamline financial reporting.
Stage Workflow
| Stage Name | Description |
| Active | The tax class is currently in use and actively applied within the tax system |
| Inactive | Temporarily not in use or suspended, but it can be reactivated if needed |
| Deleted | The tax class has been permanently removed or deleted from the tax system and can no longer be used |

This widget contains the basic details of the Tax Class

| Tax Class Name | Name of the Tax Class is displayed. A tax class is a collection of tax rates. Tax classes determine the tax rates that apply to menu items and service charges, and which tax rates can be reduced by discounts. |
| Code | The system generated unique code or short name of the Tax Class is displayed |
| Description | Comments or short notes about Tax Class are displayed |
Activity Log provide users with essential information, notifications, and real-time updates to keep them engaged and informed about key activities in apps related to updates, notifications, and stage changes.
